Apartment Make-Ready Cleaning Checklist

The room-by-room standard we use to turn a unit truly rent-ready.

A make-ready cleaning checklist breaks an apartment turn into room-by-room tasks — kitchen, bathrooms, living areas and bedrooms, floors and windows, then a final walk — so nothing gets missed and the unit passes its move-in inspection the first time. Below is the room-by-room standard T.A.P. uses on every DFW make-ready.

FAQ

Make-ready checklist — frequently asked questions

A make-ready covers a full, detailed clean of the entire unit: kitchen and appliances, bathrooms, living areas and bedrooms, floors, windows, vents, closets and fixtures — finished with a final walk so the unit is move-in ready.
A make-ready is a deep, top-to-bottom turn done while the unit is vacant — including inside appliances, cabinets and closets — to a rent-ready inspection standard, not a routine surface clean.
Standard make-readies include vacuuming. Carpet shampoo or hot-water extraction is available as an add-on, which we'll include in your quote if needed.
Yes. We can align our make-ready checklist to your community's specific move-in standard and inspection sheet so turns pass the first time.
